About "Rokiškio Mėsinė"
HISTORY
“ROKIŠKIO MĖSINĖ” (ROKISKIO MESINE) fosters the traditions of Lithuanian heritage. It is the only meat processing factory in Rokiškis district in the north-east of Lithuania. It ties its origins with the first slaughterhouse in Rokiškis district, which was founded in 1923 near Rokiškis Manor. Today you can get from this manor to the factory through a wonderful Oak Alley, which has long been considered the “Road of Merchants”.
UAB „DAIVIDA“ is a meat production and processing company that started its activities in 1996. In 2012 the company updated its business strategy, created a new brand ROKIŠKIO MĖSINĖ and started working intensively with major retail chains.

Assortment
The company can offer a wide range of products that meet the highest quality requirements. According to the market and consumers needs, the product assortment is being constantly supplemented with new products.
“ROKIŠKIO MĖSINĖ” produces traditional meat products, typical to Aukstaitija ethnographic region of Lithuania such as cold-smoked Rokiškio skilandis, Rokiškio cold-smoked and salted bacon considered to be Lithuania’s national heritage. To produce these products the company uses old recipes and rural smokehouses, where the products are smoked using alder wood chips. Therefore, meat products have a recognizable distinctive taste and flavour.
Sales: home market and export
Sales volumes of ROKIŠKIO MĖSINĖ grew by 34% and amounted to 11.73 mln. EUR from 2018 to 2020. The highest quality standards, maximum attention to customers and focus on consumer needs helped the company to strengthen itself not only in the Lithuanian market, but also abroad. Joint-stock company DAIVIDA exports its products to Ireland, the Czech Republic, Great Britain, Spain, Denmark, Romania, Sweden, Germany, Poland, Latvia and Estonia. The company’s exports account for 15% of the whole manufactured production. The ever-increasing volumes of exported products show that the products under ROKIŠKIO MĖSINĖ brand are appreciated not only by consumers in Lithuania, but also in other countries.
